Our Missions

We are a mission based organisation designed to serve the wider church and the community with a mobile and transferable event resource. The team, down to the boring exec committee is made of passionate followers of Jesus who serve in all different movements of church from Anglican, Baptist, Methodist etc....

We want “To be an answer to Jesus’ prayer for God’s people to be united, and to lift up the name of Jesus to the ends of the earth!”

Our Vision

As we look towards the next few years, as a team, instead of initiating things ourselves, we need to have the humility to say – “Father, what are you doing, what do you want to see happen” - so we will be praying to make sure that these are not good ideas but God ideas and we promise to keep you updated on where Gods taking us! We need to go out there and love our neighbour. God looks at the heart and when we are obedient in the call to love our neighbour, that touches God’s heart and puts a smile on his face...that’s worship.

God has given us as Running Late, a ministry, a vision, a mission and a purpose and we feel like we’ve got this big and exciting journey where we have the opportunity to travel around serving the wider church and the community but as a friend of mine once said; ‘with God, the destination is a person, rather than a place. It’s about a relationship with him so as a team, we’re going to be studying Gods word, serving in our local churches when we’re not travelling and we want to encourage you to get involved in whatever mission God places on your heart and continue studying because His word reveals who He is, what He likes, what He doesn’t like, His word reveals His heart and as we get to know the heart of His word, we grow in our knowledge of the heart of God.

We’re longing to see more and more of his Kingdom come and his will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. We’re longing to see a greater breakthrough of his Spirit because we believe in a God of power, a God who is alive and active today and always wants to meet with His people. We just need to operate how Jesus operates and we feel as the wider church, there is no point in us going out there on the mission field, entertaining and building relationships with each other and with the community unless the heart of our mission is to bring the lost sheep home.

The Team

Our team is made up of all different ages and denominations but we feel young people are such an important part and a real value to the Running Late team and Gods kingdom, not just to operate and use the equipment to further their careers on our missions but we want to invest our time in them running training workshops and seminars to equip them in all areas like sound and visual, pastoral, prayer, welcome and their personal relationships with God to be used within their local churches and journeys through life.

We will be posting and emailing out application forms to see if you want to get involved on the team. If you don’t want to volunteer, we would still love you to hang out with us. You may even feel that you might want to come on a gap year with us.
